John T Bell

Ajontech was founded in 2014 by John Bell. Mr. Bell has over 40 years of IT industry experience 18 years of them within hospitality industry. He chairs working groups in several standards organizations including the Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG), the Open Group, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He helped to create the Hotel Industry Reference Architecture and the Hotel Industry Secure Payment Framework.

Mr. Bell was Associate Professor for the Center for Applied Information Technology at Towson State University for 14 years teaching classes in Java and Web Development. He has authored and co-authored several books and magazine articles and presented at many conferences over the years. He is considered an expert in Enterprise Architecture, Security and Privacy Architecture, and Software Engineering. He has a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Maryland.
